CleanApp is a powerful, easy to use and free Mac applications that have helped me clean out many of my "junk" files on my personal Mac. CleanApp works in the background and automatically removes junk files from your hard drive that have built up over time. It can scan your computer, locate and remove hundreds of different programs at one time. I have also used CleanApp to scan my external drives for errors.
The free versions of CleanApp work great on a Mac with a relatively slow processor. The program scans your hard drive, looks for unwanted data and deletes them all without even you realize it. You don't need to have a professional technician come out and clean out your computer either. The software runs on its own and works smoothly, all you need to do is set it up and let it do its job.
CleanApp works great on my MacBook Air as well as my Retina MacBook Pro running OS X Snow Leopard. I have not had any problems with the software as long as you are running a relatively new operating system. CleanApp scans and detects hundreds of different programs, all at the same time. It can be used with several users and even multiple computers on a single computer. CleanApp can even detect and remove invalid shortcuts, hidden files, spyware and more. The program has been extremely reliable and has never let me down when I have needed it. I highly recommend that anyone who has a Mac that is slow or that needs cleaning run CleanApp on their computer.
